My 2025, Wrapped. 🌍✨

This year was filled with new places, early mornings, long walks through cities I’d never seen before and moments that I never thought would happen.

I explored new countries, discovered hidden gems, tried new food, chased sunrises, and spent a lot of time in nature.

Travel isn’t about ticking places off a list - it’s about how a place makes you feel. And 2025 gave me so many moments that felt magical.

Thank you to every place, every person, and every experience that shaped this year.

Last weekend we hopped on our bikes and explored the peaceful countryside around Deetz.

From hidden lakes - Deetzer Erdlöcher and panoramic observation tower Götzer Berg to roadside veggie stands and wild fruit trees, this region is perfect for a day trip. We even took a ferry across the Havel to end the day with Italian food in Ketzin 🍝

The best part? We barely scratched the surface of the Havelland cycling route – which is 371 km long.

Off-season in Halkidiki 🇬🇷🍂

I visited this stunning region in northern Greece last October, right at the start of the closing season. The beaches were calm, the streets almost empty, and the peaceful vibe made it feel like I had the whole place to myself.

Many hotels and sights were already closed for the winter, but that quiet charm made it a perfect escape to slow down and just breathe. 🌊🌿

✨ Did you know?

1. Halkidiki is shaped like a trident with three “legs”: Kassandra, Sithonia, and Mount Athos. Each offering a totally different experience.

2. Mount Athos is an autonomous monastic state with 20 monasteries, and only men are allowed to enter.

3. Aristotle, the famous philosopher, was born in ancient Stageira - a village you can still visit today.

🌿 Weekend Escape at Raj nad Jeziorem, Poland 🌿

Just a 2 hour drive from Berlin, I found this hidden gem in Lubniewice - and wow, it really has it all. I stayed here for 2 nights and was absolutely amazed by the peaceful surroundings, modern comforts and thoughtful details.

The property has 4 houses ranging from 2 to 3 bedrooms - perfect whether you're traveling as a couple, with friends or as a family.

Each house has a sunny terrace and lake view. My highlight was the sauna and jacuzzi. Here you can relax or explore - with canoeing, hiking, biking and peaceful BBQs in the garden.
